Wheelchair-cycle with My Nephews: Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge

A little bonus post during this holiday season, as part of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. The idea is to share photos with the blogging community, and have some fun! This week’s particular challenge is Bicycles, Tricycles, Motorcycles, and Wagons. Since it’s me sharing this entry, there is, of course, a twist: a “wheelchair-cycle.”

I am not a photographer. Because of my motor neuron disease, I can’t even hold a camera—so you’re probably wondering why I’m taking part in this challenge? As a writer, I appreciate that one photograph is worth a thousand words, and since my father takes a lot of pictures, I thought I would share some of me in my “wheels.” To keep true to the challenge, and because yet another year is coming to an end, I’m sharing photos of my nephews riding my wheelchair through the years. They’ve now grown too big to climb on the back for rides without tipping me over!

    I thoroughly enjoyed viewing these photos. You must have quite an interesting album.
    I never realized your dad was such a great photographer.
    You certainly come from a Resourceful family.

    • You know, after I posted these pictures, I realized that my mother probably took some of them! 🙂 And I think one was taken by my sister, so it’s a family affair. Happy new year to you and yours!
