exclamation point sign

Did I forget to mention? In last week’s reflection, I neglected to tell you, dear reader, that I will be posting every other week in order to find time to write my conversion story. So expect reflections on the first and third Thursday of every month, with an update on my “memoir” in March when there will be five Thursdays. (If my calculations are correct.)

So, obviously, this post doesn’t count. Pretend I wasn’t here. You saw nothing. You read nothing. 😀

Although crippled by disease, I'm fully alive in love. I write about the terrible beauty and sacred wonder of life, while living with physical disability and severe dependency. A revert to the Catholic faith through atheism, I'm not afraid to ask life's big questions. I explore what it means to be fully human through my weekly blog and have written a book: It's Good to Be Here, published by Sophia Institute Press.

  1. I’ve watched your YouTube videos this morning Christina and inspired me to purchase your book. I will read it in the next few days.

You made the following comment that I’ve never heard before and will not forget:

    “God loved you into being”

That right there is enough to change the world. I know it did mine!

Keep writing & keep letting us out here know that life is very, very, very precious. It’s all about how we look at things, right? 🙂

    • If only everyone knew that they have been loved into being by infinite and eternal God, the world would indeed be a very different place! Thank you for reflecting with me here and through YouTube, and thank you very much for purchasing my book. (I am always in awe of what God can do to us, even someone as little as I am. I hope God will send you something beautiful through It’s Good to Be Here! If you have any questions or comments while reading, please feel free to share.)
How we see life definitely determines how we live it. The name of your blog seems to point toward this importance of perspective — we are too small to see the big picture, but God is The Divine Artist and we are His Masterpieces in progress. Blessings to you in the peace of Christ!

      • Thank you Christina. Started to read your book today. You are a gifted writer. Shared your book with a family member & their comment was only people who endure hardships and brokenness as yourself can truly articulate and express the depths and treasures found in God’s heart. I agree with him.

I’m going to purchase some hardcopies and give them as gifts. Keep shining your light and be encouraged! And thank you for dropping by my blog. David
